We are able to tailor our facilities to your requirements.

In addition to the main Memorial Hall, which can seat up to 350 people or provide space for dance or fabulous parties & receptions, there are two further meeting rooms, the Festival Room and the Coastal Room, with capacities from 10 to 100 people, together with a large foyer & bar, and other areas which complete this unique venue. Plans and dimensions of the rooms appear in the ‘Our Rooms’ section of this page.

We are also able to offer a range of sound, lighting and IT facilities to help make your meeting or event that bit more special.

Our Rooms to Hire

The Memorial Hall

Dimensions : : The Main Hall area excluding the Stage is 18.5 Metres (61 ft) x 13.5 Metres (45 ft)

Meeting Capacity : 200 – 350 depending on gangway requirements.

With Tables: 100 – 240 depending on type of table and table layout required.

The Festival Room

Dimensions : 11.5 metres (37 ft) x 7 metres (23 ft)

Meeting Capacity : Up to 100

A light and airy room with full length windows along the length of the room, overlooking the New Milton Recreation Ground.

Suited for the smaller meeting, presentation or exhibition, it can also provide an ideal facility for community working groups, such as the Art Class which meets at the Centre, several times a month.

A small Kitchenette Facility is provided off the main Meeting Room area (Top Right of the Floor Plan Diagram on the right)

The Hampshire Room

This room is currently not for hire.

Dimensions : 13.5 metres (43 ft) x 5 metres (16 ft)

Meeting Capacity : Up to 80

The dotted area at the left hand side of the room is a Kitchen Worksurface within the Meeting Room.

The Coastal Room

Dimensions :16ft x 19ft (4.9mtrs x 5.7mtrs)

Meeting Capacity : Up to 20

The coastal room situated on the ground floor has access to the Memorial hall and the Kitchenette. The coastal room has a meeting capacity of 20.

Easy Access

Full access via the Main Door for the Disabled. A Lift is available from the Foyer area to the 1st Floor Meeting Rooms.

Health & Safety and Child Protection:

The Memorial Centre has comprehensive Health & Safety, Risk Assessment and Child Protection policies in place which are regularly reviewed, together with Public Liability insurance cover.
